Daniel is a German internet activist and technologist. He is involved in various projects around anonymity, the build-out of decentralized internet infrastructure and educating kids about all things tech. Daniel has a strong focus on the impact of technology on society, both historically as well as in regards to the future. An advocate for transparency and freedom of speech by heart, Daniel deeply cares for equal access to knowledge and information in a globalized world. In a former life, Daniel helped build the WikiLeaks platform from late 2007 to September 2010 and was as a spokesperson for the project until he quit over disagreements regarding strategy and management.
