Internet routing within the network card Feedback

This talk will give an introduction to how IP routing can be accomplished within some network cards using the TC flower API, and how that has been optimized in the newly released Linux v6.10 (expected July 14th or July 21st).

In order to use the TC flower API with dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, I have developed a new daemon flower-routed, to keep the TC ruleset synchronized.

During the talk I will cover how this is used at Fiberby (AS42541; transit provider for BornHack) with 100G NICs, but also how to use it in a hobby setting for very energy efficient 10G routing in Labitat (AS205235).
