Are you aware of infrastructure changes to your cloud environment, and how do you track and document it ? We are not talking about proforma "change requests" and other misunderstood practices, but a real life approach to keeping a change history.
To start the discussion, Nicolai will spend 5 minutes showcasing a POC called Azure2Git for how this can work in Azure, and then let's talk about alternatives, ideas and hopefully cool recommendations for both free and commercial solutions. I hope this can be a generic meetup, and that people might be able to contribute with experiences and ideas for other platforms like Amazon, Google or maybe servers, networking equipment etc. ?
To limit the scope, we will not discuss Infrastructure as code solutions like terraform. But rather solutions that can be used on new and existing infrastructure.
