In this workshop I would like to give you teach you the very basic and play around with DJ gear for mixing. I will tell you how most (electronic dance) music is built up, present an overview of the used components and we will do a lot of counting. What is bpm/key, a beat/bar/phrase/chapter , what are downbeats/upbeats , what do all these buttons/slides do and how to use them. How to listen for the song structure and set pointers.

After the theory you can start tinkering with the equipment yourself. Signup is not needed, but there will be a limited group (approx 10) I can guide trough the steps.
