Bash tricks Feedback

"Just 45 minutes of one trick after another, with examples of situations where they can be useful."

Some of us who have to interact with computers regularly find ourselves deep in hostile territory: the Bash shell.

The Bash manual is long and intimidating, and functionality is often overlooked by its users who get by with their respective bags of tricks accumulated haphazardly over the years.

We will go over various Bash and readline features, common and obscure, with a story-driven narrative trying to tackle scenarios that might be relevant to system administrators, programmers, and other command-line-curious individuals.
