Datacenterkritisk Arbejdsgruppe (DA) is a group of concerned citizens that resist the building of new data centers in Denmark. We come from all parts of Denmark and represent a wide range of academic backgrounds, ages, political affiliations and places of living.
We are currently working to stop a planned hyperscale data centre in Holbæk. We aim to create a national umbrella organization in order to track new projects before they get approved, share information and raise national awareness about the environmental and societal impacts. First and foremost we work towards getting data centers regulated democratically, and want the Danish parliament to instate a national moratorium on new data centers, as seen for example in some US states.
To that end, we have established www.datacenterinfo.dk.
