New to the geek world and feeling like everyone else already speaks a language you don't quite have yet? This one's for you. Docker comes up everywhere, in talks, in projects, in half the conversations around the campfire. This hands-on workshop starts at absolute zero. No prior containers, no Linux wizardry, no assumptions. Together we'll answer the question: what is a container, and why does everyone keep using them? Then we'll get our hands dirty and pulling an image, running it, looking inside, and building a tiny something of your own. By the end you'll have run real containers, understood what just happened, and picked up the vocabulary to jump into all those conversations. No experience required. Bring a laptop if you can (we'll help you get set up). Curiosity is the only prerequisite.... and maybe coffee or your favorite beverage.
