We have achieved some important victories against mass surveillance in the EU in the past year. I will report on what has happened with the chat control laws and we will also look at other EU laws that are currently underway (hint: Digital Omnibus). I will offer some perspectives to explain why these laws are problematic and talk about what we can expect in the near future.
