We are looking for a trained chef to handle lunch and dinner for our volunteers in the days before and after BornHack. You will be cooking for between 15 and 70 people every day, with numbers increasing as the event approaches, and dropping off after the event, we need help for a total of 11 days in July. If you have the experience and skills needed to cook for a lot of people, and if you feel like being part of the community around BornHack, maybe we can use you.

BornHack is about technology, computers, internet and related topics, so nerdy applicants will be prioritised.

The dates are 10th-15th and 23rd-27th of July 2025 and the time is daily from 12.00–20.00. The hourly salary: 250,- DKK. The location is Spejderhytten Hylkedam, Hylkedamvej 54, 5591 Gelsted. Free accomodation in private room can be provided.

Lunch: rugbrød and pålæg

Dinner: A hot meal including some sort of salad

Important: You have to be able to accomodate varying diets like vegetarians and vegans. A drivers license is neccesary since shopping is part of the job. A car can be made available if needed. The place has a professional kitchen and lots of equipment, but bring your own knives if you want sharp ones. You must be able to write an invoice for your time.
