Internet memes are everywhere. In our feeds, in our group-chats, AND in our politics.

In this talk I'll discuss the use of funny pictures as political communication, the possibilities and challenges of memes as propaganda, why it can be a tool in the movement for social liberation, and how (and how not) to make political memes - from the viewpoint of a meme-smith.

Wikipedia is one of the very few larger sites online today, that still embody the freedom of information and association promised by the early internet. It is made by the people, for the people - and anyone can join.

In this workshop we will cover some of the basics regarding the values and content policies of Wikipedia, talk about dos and don'ts, practice wiki markup - and help write articles for the worlds largest encyclopedia (in Danish or English).
