I started working on the web in 1994 when I co-founded the Student Network Twente, on the University of Twente, managing a revolutionary high speed (10Mbps) network on the university campus.
Since 1997 I've worked professionally on building enterprise web content management solutions, including Ariadne CMS and Vedor. In 2015 we launched SimplyEdit, a true drag and drop user interface for the read-write web. Today we are working on extending this to a universal low-code application builder.
I've got extensive experience in designing and building large scale maintainable software products, in PHP and JavaScript (ES6 / NodeJS). I am true full stack developer, but also know my way around designing and building front-end user interfaces and UX.

I've been building software that connects to remote API's for 20+ years, and it is still one of the most frustrating parts of my work. Even the best REST API's, with GraphQL and all, still require carefully crafted client code. Why isn't this solved already? Or if it is, why don't we use any of those solutions?
