Peter Kofod

Peter Kofod is a writer, activist and troublemaker, focusing on whistleblowers, surveillance and civil liberties. He was the first Dane to interview Edward Snowden and subsequently he helped break the story that Denmark played a part in the US attempt to rendition the NSA-whistleblower back to the US. Peter covered the showtrial against Anakata, was a human shield in Iraq and is cofounder of Danish whistleblower-organisation Veron. When he’s not running around giving lectures to journalism-students, he tries really hard (really!) to finish his first book.
